The most memorable part of the museum tour was when our tour guide took us to the area where they had sketches and mini models of sets for movies. I found it so intriguing to see how in depth they go when it comes to set design and creating it. In the past I had never put much thought into what goes into the set production so to see the stages that they go through was very interesting. I loved how the specifically had multiple examples from the movie Silence of the Lambs. I grew up watching that movie with my dad so to see the sketches of where Hannibal Lecter was kept and the mini wooden model of the house of the kidnapper was one of the highlights of the trip for me. I loved seeing what went on before the movie even started filming. It has definitely changed my views of how a movie is created and how in depth the production really is.
